Every Proclaimed item is custom-made to order through our print-on-demand partner, Gelato. Here is everything you need to know about how your order is fulfilled, shipped, and what to do if something goes wrong.

How Your Order Is Fulfilled

When you place an order, it is automatically sent to Gelato's nearest production facility to your delivery address. Your garment is printed, quality-checked, and dispatched directly to you — we do not hold stock or handle items ourselves.

This means your order benefits from local production in most regions, reducing both delivery time and environmental impact.

Shipping Information

Free Shipping

Enjoy free standard shipping on all UK orders over £80. Orders under £80 are charged at £8.00 for standard delivery.

Production & Delivery Times

All orders require a production period of 2–5 business days before dispatch. This is the time needed to print, cure, and quality-check your garment. Delivery time is in addition to this.

Delivery estimates are from the date of dispatch, not the order date. Times may vary during peak periods.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package directly through the carrier's website. If you have not received a tracking email within 7 business days of ordering, please contact us at [email protected].

International Orders

We ship worldwide. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country's customs authority. These charges are outside our control and are not included in the shipping cost. Delivery times may be extended due to customs clearance.

Returns & Refunds

Important: Gelato does not provide a return address and does not accept returns for custom-printed items. Our returns process is entirely photo-based — you will never need to send an item back.

What Is Covered (Gelato Quality Guarantee)

We will provide a free replacement or full refund for any of the following, where the issue was not caused by content you provided:

Damage to the delivered product present on arrival

Errors in the number or quantity of items delivered

Manufacturing defects — misprints, ink smearing, misaligned graphics, or incorrect colours

The wrong item dispatched — incorrect size, colour, or product

Significant damage caused during shipping

All claims must be raised within 30 days of the delivery date.

What Is Not Covered

Change of mind or buyer's remorse

Incorrect size selected at checkout — please use our size guide before ordering

Minor colour variations between screen display and the printed garment (within Gelato's acceptable tolerance levels)

Items worn, washed, or altered after delivery

Items damaged by the customer after delivery

Issues caused by artwork or content provided by the customer

Size Exchanges

Gelato does not support size exchanges for custom-printed items. If you ordered the wrong size, we are unable to exchange it. If we dispatched the wrong size, this is treated as a fulfilment error and we will send a free replacement in the correct size.

How to Raise a Claim — No Return Required

You do not need to send the item back. Gelato does not accept returns. Our entire claims process is handled via photos.

  1. Email us within 30 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number, a clear description of the issue, and at least two photos showing the defect or damage.
  2. We review and raise with Gelato within 1–2 business days. If approved, we will confirm whether you would prefer a replacement or a refund.
  3. Replacement or refund issued — a replacement will be printed and dispatched within 3–5 business days, or a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Keep the defective item — you do not need to return it. Gelato processes all claims from photos alone.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it, before production begins. Once production has started, cancellation is not possible. To cancel, email [email protected] immediately with your order number.

Lost or Delayed Packages

For packages lost in transit, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We will raise the issue with Gelato and arrange for a replacement order to be sent at no charge.

If your tracking shows your package was delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours, your building's reception or post room, and wait 24–48 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered slightly early. If the package still cannot be located, contact us and we will investigate with Gelato on your behalf.

Orders Returned to Sender

If your order is returned to the sender (due to an incorrect address, rejection by the recipient, or an unclaimed parcel), please contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We will report the issue to Gelato and arrange for the product cost to be refunded against a new order — you will only be charged for the shipping of the replacement.

Note: If an incorrect address was provided at checkout, the cost of the new order is the customer's responsibility. Gelato disposes of returned items safely and does not re-ship them.
